Design Brief

Objectives

• Create an 11 x 17 inch (tabloid size) poster for BEAR Day 2025 that explore expressive typography

• Adapt the poster design to an 8.5 x 5.5 program cover (this design may also be used as a postcard and table tent)

• Gain an understanding for working with a client to deliver a body of work in a timely manner

• Gain an understanding for preparing digital files for professional printing

Description

Breakthroughs in Engagement, the Arts and Research (BEAR) Day showcases outstanding undergraduate student research and special projects. BEAR Day includes oral presentations, poster sessions, musical presentations and art show exhibits. The 2023 program featured 150 oral and poster presentations with contributions from over 200 students.
